This is a rather attractive plant with fleshy leaves which originally came from the South African Cape region. Forms dense stands where conditions are favourable that drive out native species purely by out competing them. Often grows in inaccessible locations making removal very difficult. Can also fix salts into the soil making it undesirable for other species. |
