Facts:

This
Aphid which is wingless in its adult form measures between 1 & 2mm
in length. It causes much damage in plantations of Spruce where it can
kill off the needles by the act of sucking the trees sap. It is only
a severe problem when numbers reach very high densities, typically after
a mild winter. With the greater incidence of mild winters it is becoming
an increasing problem. |
